With the rollout of the nationwide coronavirus vaccination programme well underway (delivered at the NHS's seven large-scale vaccination sites, community medical centres, and local pharmacies) issues of access and transportation to vaccination centres will obviously come to the the fore with parking being at the top of the list.
The need for effective parking management will be heightened in order to give people unfettered access to a potentially life-saving vaccination. To help facilitate this, The IPC has published some guidance for motorists outlining things to keep in mind when parking at, or near, a vaccination venue. This is to help ensure that everyone who needs a vaccine can get one while ensuring that potential parking problems do not impede the national rollout of the vaccination programme.
